Milking the Milky Way - Photographing our galaxy from Enchanted Rock State Park

Enchanted Rock State Park
THE SHOT:
This is a single shot of the Milky Way I took on May 6th during the new moon. I was shooting a time-lapse video (which is really cool btw) and I went back to the location to get my camera at the end of the night, and I happen to see this tree behind me (it was very dark so I didn't see it the first time). I only had my Sony A7s, 28mm f/2.0 lens, and a Gorillapod. All of my other gear was at the bottom of Enchanted Rock. I walked around trying to line up this tree with the Milky Way. I took 5-6 photos guessing how the image would be framed. I couldn't see a preview of the shot before taking the photo because I was using my Sony mirrorless camera and didn't have my real time exposure turned on. Long story short, I was able to get this photo. I think it's my favorite photo from that night.

Small Gorillapod (tripod).
The Grit:
7 hours - 120 minute to drive there. 30 minutes to hike up to find a spot.
30 minutes to get everything set. 2 Hours shooting. 120 minutes driving back home.

That's a really great photo. I am also planning to take some Milky Way photo at Enchanted Rock. I am wondering what website and software do you use to track Milky Way location at a specific date and time? Also, do they let you stay after the park was closed, and were you able to leave the park at night or do you have to wait until the morning?
